Well I just laid Rome down for a nap...grabbed a cup of coffee with my favorite.. most delicious.. peppermint mocha creamer and thought this was the perfect time to make my first post on our new family blog:) Today is a BEAUTIFUL day here in Louisiana.. its mid 70's (yeah, this weather in November:)).. the trees are all changing colors and the air is actually breathable:). We have a gorgeous view out here in the country .. I am thankful for that! Yesterday I decided to take Rome out into the front yard to capture the beautiful season, gorgeous view and adorable boy:). Here are some pics... 
Well I hear him talking in his monitor now so I guess its time to get the little man up. I hope this little update brought a smile to your face. I have enjoyed my first post:) It kinda feels like all my loved ones joined me for a cup of coffee during his nap and we got to catch up:)

Hey guys..what a great idea. Your new blog did bring a huge smile and almost a tear. (i'm at work so I have to control my emotions) Laurie, I did have coffee with you. I had almond rocha with a touch of white chocolate...and I threw leaves with Rome. What a nice imaginary memory. I love you all, Dad

ReplyDeleteHi Sweet Laurie! I think of you so often and pray for you as often as I think of you! I know that what you are doing is not in ANY WAY easy. God knows you are a strong woman!! This blog is a great idea, not only for you but for everyone who loves you! It's like we get to peek in and see a little bit of your life. That is soooo much better than having to imagine everything. Rome is growing up so fast(and with your blog, we won't have to miss it!). What a darling boy. And his mommas is quite the photographer!! You are a multi-talented woman indeed. The best part is that you keep God as the center of all that you do. I am finding that is the only true road to Joy! And Holly is the reason I have learned that truth. I miss her so much, too, yet feel her so close. She blazed the trail for many of us! God bless you, Sweetie. He's got you and your little family cradled carefully in the palm of His Hand.
